Sequoia National Forest Scrambles





Location: Mineral King Area
Sequoia National Park, CA

Team Members: LDog and BJP

Mission:

Day One: Arrive in the park at 3 am.
Day Two: Hike in and establish base camp at 11,000 ft cirque below Sawtooth Peak.
Day Three: Attempt 1/2 mile ridge to pyramidal sub-peak of Sawtooth.















With a few hours of sleep under our belt and jolted with cowboy cafe we begin. Aren't the lowlands inspiring??

To conclude this post I just wanna say that there are cracks in them there hills.
